The results of our latest 2016 Peer-to-Peer Fundraising study are in! In case you missed the announcement, take a minute to download the study here.  This annual report examines the performance of 16,855 events in the United States and Canada over a three-year period from January 1, 2014 to December 31, 2016. The events studied were run by 171 nonprofit organizations and encompass over 10.9 million event participants and $1.23 billion in event revenue. The study takes a deep dive into the metrics, statistics, and trends of four different peer-to-peer fundraising event types: cycling, endurance, 5Ks and walks.

If you have ever wondered how your peer-to-peer or p2p fundraising event is performing relative to other nonprofit and charity events, this study is a must read. In the study, we identify areas for potential growth and share key performance indicators to help you benchmark and refine your existing events.

If you are wondering whether or not you should add a new event to your annual fundraising plan, then this study is also for you. Understanding how different types of events perform is a critical first step in selecting a new fundraising event for your organization. Use the metrics we share as a starting point to set goals and shape your fundraising strategy.
